Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is appealing his extradition from the United Kingdom to the United States.
Two weeks ago, the British government agreed to extradite Assange (50) to the US after years of legal allegiance. He has not been convicted but has been in prison since 2019 because the danger of flights is considered high.
The US suspects the Australian of having leaked secret documents about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
As a result, he would be responsible, among other things, for the deaths of informants from the American armed forces. He faces 175 years in prison.
