Prime Minister Johnson: Stricter Mouth Mask Policy Needed in England

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that a stricter policy for wearing mouth masks may be necessary in England.

He would like to see people covering mouth and nose while shopping. Now they are free to do so, unlike Scotland, where it is mandatory.

“I really think we should be more urgent to wear face masks in places where people come across others they don’t frequently meet.

That’s why it’s already mandatory on public transportation,” said Johnson.

He added that the government is looking for ways to make shoppers aware, for example, that there is a risk of virus transmission and that it is, therefore, wise to wear a mask.
