Russian Spy Dies After Falling from Embassy Window in Berlin

The German intelligence services are convinced that the man who died a few weeks ago after falling from a window at the Russian embassy in Berlin was a spy for the Russian intelligence service FSB. This is reported by Der Spiegel.

The body of the 35-year-old man was found on the street in Berlin on October 19, allegedly after falling from a window on the top floor of the Russian embassy.

The incident was only announced on Friday. At first, it was unclear how the man had died, and the Russian authorities refused to perform an autopsy.

The man was officially in the country as “secretary”, but according to the German intelligence services, it is a spy of the FSB. The man is also said to be the son of a high-ranking officer in the same intelligence agency.
