Worldwide Coronavirus Deaths Risen Over 150,000

The worldwide number of recorded deaths from the new coronavirus has risen to over 150,000. This is evident from a count of the website Worldometer.

Most of the victims were in the United States, where at least 35,000 people died from COVID-19.

Worldometer is a website that provides a lot of data about population growth, for example, and is maintained by American researchers.

AFP news agency has calculated that about 60 percent of the world’s population is in quarantine or lockdown. It concerns 4.5 billion people.

Some countries, such as Italy and Spain, have entirely cut off parts of the country from the outside world.

Several countries, such as Poland and Denmark, are going to relax the strict measures from next week so that daily life and the economy can get going again.
