OpenAI Launches Custom ChatGPT for the US Government

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has launched a version of its popular chatbot “tailored” for the US government.

Government agencies can install ChatGPT Gov, as the AI tool is called, in their secure cloud environment. This also allows the tool to be fed with non-public and sensitive information.

OpenAI believes that artificial intelligence can improve the efficiency and productivity of the US government. According to the company, ChatGPT Gov offers the same functions as a regular chatbot. Government employees can also build and share their tools within their work environment.
