According to Reuters, the incoming American president, Donald Trump, does not plan to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, next week.
Trump may address the economic summit in the Swiss Alps virtually.
The five-day event starts the following Monday, Trump’s inauguration. At the annual summit in the ski resort of Davos, world leaders, heads of state, ministers, bankers, and top executives from the business community come together to discuss economic and political developments worldwide, among other things.
The WEF will hold a press conference later to announce who is on the guest list and the main discussion topics.
