The US state of Arizona has confirmed that Trump rival Joe Biden won the presidential election there.
It is yet another setback for President Trump, who had hoped to reverse his defeat somehow. The victory in Arizona makes Biden’s national victory even stronger.
Arizona is one of the states where the difference between Biden and Trump was not significant, or where the president had won last time.
Trump’s team filed lawsuits and demanded recounts and checks in several of those crucial states.
But attempts to win a second term in office in this way have so far been in vain.
